A new five years contract has been signed by IMG Sports and Entertainment and Harrah’s Interactive Entertainment. With this new deal, Harrah’s is expecting to extend the international reputation of WSOP, which has already experienced a great development in the last five years. There is also talks regarding the possibility of internationalize the WSOP event, which is now confined two Las Vegas and London exclusively, by taking advantage of the growth in the number of poker players. This growth has been impulse even more by the development of many online poker rooms, which offer the possibility of playing for free and also with real money.
